postheadericon Are You An Exotic Pets Expert?

It has been a while since my last update. School let out for the summer, we headed to the coast for a long weekend, and my good friend Lianne McLeod DVM resigned from her post at About.com. The first to events were great. The third was sad, but expected, as Lianne is starting out on her third degree, a Master’s degree in Biodiversity Conservation and Management and needed more time to focus on studies. (This degree in addition to her Biology (BSc) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees.)

I am posting this news here because the Exotic Pets site at About.com needs a Guide. Are you experienced with exotic pets and interested in being part of the About.com network? Check out the Be A Guide page. NOTE: I just did, and they don’t have the Exotic Pets site listed yet, so I sent a message to tech support.

Thankfully, Lianne is still around. You can find her on Twitter (@LianneMcLeod) and her new blog, Saving Biodiversity.

With that, I leave you with a little beach biodiversity – a photo of the tidepool we admired at low tide yesterday.
