postheadericon Has Your Dog Had HGE? Your Photos Needed!

I am working with  CJ Puotinen at Whole Dog Journal on an article about HGE (also discussed in this blog), and they would like dog photos. This is my public service message. I am not collecting or publishing the photos.

From CJ:
To be considered, the dog should have been diagnosed with HGE and his or her story should already be posted here (or archived here).

We welcome photos of HGE survivors and also dogs who did not survive.

Photos are printed in color. The dog in the photo can be doing just about anything accept standing next to a trophy at a dog show (no dog show photos accepted).

The photo should be 300dpi and accompanied by a brief description – dog’s name, age at time of HGE illness, location (city, state), owner’s full name, and a few words about what the dog is doing if it’s anything unusual. The person submitting the photo must own its copyright – we can’t use studio photos without a photo release from the photographer. Clear focus and good contrast are a must.

Digital photos can be sent by email to CJ at pethealthwriter@aol.com.
